Small collaboration in The Ruins Project
Open air gallery by the mosaic artist Rachel Sager
The north american artist Rachel Sager converted a property in Pennsylvania into an open gallery of mosaics and making collaborations with artists from all around the world. I met Rachel in one of the annual mosaic meetings in Buenos Aires, organized by Jaton Mosaic Studio and one day, browsing Facebook, I found out that Rachel was completing an area of a wall with small circles that were gears with mosaics. The circle had internal diameter of 13 cm (5.12 inches). I used portuguese original tiles that I found downtown of Rio and mixed them with contemporary tiles in portuguese style and dark blues to make the composition.

It is an amazing project and I invite you to visit Rachel's website and follow her on instagram
